October 6, 2010 -- PIP announced today the election of Gina Moran, Director of Development at the Arts Council of the Morris Area in Morristown, NJ, to its board of trustees. Moran was named as a trustee at PIP's September board meeting.

At the Arts Council of the Morris Area., Ms. Moran oversees development including responsibility for annual appeals, corporate & foundation giving and special events.

Prior to joining the Arts Council of the Morris Area, Ms. Moran was for 19 years employed at Novartis Pharmaceuticals Corporation in East Hanover, NJ most recently serving as its Executive Director of Philanthropy and Community Relations. Prior to her work in philanthropy, Ms. Moran worked in the areas of communications, media, and public relations at Novartis.

Ms. Moran received a B.A. in Art History and English from Rutgers University in New Brunswick, NJ and a M.A. in Art History from the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia, PA. She is member of two nonprofits boards and resides in Chatham, NJ with her husband and three daughters.
