    Mission:  To provide an enriching Montessori-based education that fosters the child's inate love of learning, creativity and wonder; to cultivate dynamic partnerships between family, school, and community; to celebrate the human spirit and honor the diversity among us; and to inspire and impact society through academic excellence and service.
  • Actor's Shakespeare Company, Jersey City
    Mission:  To unlock the deeply human essence of classical theater for contemporary audiences. Maintaining a dedicated ensemble of artists, ASC sets the highest possible standards for Shakespearian and other classical performance and creates a unique and vibrant voice in the community.
  • Center for Community Arts, Cape May
    Mission:  Fostering creativity, celebrating our world's diversity and building community through arts and humanities programs that reach out to the underserved populations, youth, the elderly and those living on low and fixed incomes. It is also committed to rehabilitating the Franklin Street School, a New Jersey African American Historic site in Cape May, as a community cultural center.
  • Center for Food Action, Englewood
    Mission:  To prevent hunger and homelessness and improve the lives of individuals and families. They provide emergency food, utility and housing assistance, advocacy and counseling services and access to other community resources.
  • Joseph E. Enright Foundation, Summit
    Mission:  To provide "Health Through Education" by offering:
    • Community lecture series and programs
    • Continuing Medical Education lectures to physicians and other health professionals
    • Scholarships to individuals pursuing a career in healthcare
    • Health Education Library to provide resources and support to community members addressing medical issues
  • New Jersey Foundation for Aging, Trenton
    Mission:  To improve and expand new and innovative approaches in delivery of services that enable older adults to live in the community with independence and dignity through grant making to address unmet needs and through increasing society's awareness to influence public policy.
  • Sussex County Charter School for Technology, Sparta
    Mission:  To offer a 7th and 8th grade middle school program that provides an educational environment which enhances academic learning opportunities through integrated use of available technologies.

  • El Club Del Barrio, Newark
    It provides quality, science-based, client-centered social and behavioral healthcare services that prevent disease and improve the quality of life for individuals and families in these communities.
  • Hispanic Development Corporation, Newark
    It helps the people in the urban area of Newark improve the quality of their lives to reflect their God-given dignity and personal achievement, focusing on the Hispanic population.
  • Newark Boys Chorus School, Newark
    With musical training and education as the keystone, it seeks to inspire a love of learning, a quest for excellence and a compassion for humanity for students in the Greater Newark area.
  • YouthBuild, Newark, Inc., Newark
    It harnesses the intelligence and positive energy of low-income young people to re-build their community and their lives.

  • City Without Walls, Newark
    City Without Walls is an urban gallery of emerging art that advances the careers of artists in Newark's Lincoln Park Arts District.
  • Crossroads Theatre, New Brunswick
    Mission:  To produce, present, create and encourage images and performances in theatre, with timely emphasis on youth and family audiences, that represent outstanding cultural programming of the African Diaspora and the world.
  • Jewish Family & Children's of Mercer County, Princeton
    Mission:  To strengthen families and individuals by providing community-based services including therapy, support, education, advocacy, and information and referral.
  • Jewish Renaissance Foundation, Perth Amboy
    Mission:  To bring quality, accessible and culturally competent social, medical and educational programs to Middlesex County and countries abroad.
    It serves the communities as a Youth Developer, Jobs developer, Leader Developer and Health Developer.
  • Keen Company, New York City
    Inspired by the works of early 20th century American playwrights, Keen Company seeks to create a culture of artists, technicians, administrators and audiences who share a desire to invigorate the theatre with productions that connect us through humor, heart and hope.
  • NJ Coalition Against Sexual Assault, Trenton
    Mission:  To promote the compassionate and just treatment of victims and their loved ones, foster collaborative relationships between community systems, and affect attitudinal and behavioral changes in society as we work toward the elimination of sexual violence against all people.
  • Stickley Museum at Craftsman Farm, Morris Plains
    Mission:  To interpret, restore and preserve Craftsman Farms and the artifacts and ideals associated with Gustav Stickley and the Arts and Crafts movement and to demonstrate the continuing relevance of Gustav Stickely and the Arts and Crafts movement.

    Serves children grades 4 through 8 and their families within the city of Newark.
    Mission:  to use the process of living to build on students' natural curiosities and develop their workplace readiness skills.

    Serves Paterson, Passaic Count and Northern NJ.
    Mission:  to feed people and change lives by providing food, clothing, job skill development, and spiritual growth to eligible individuals, families and community-based organizations.

  • GreenFaith, Trenton
    An environmental coalition that serves faith-based institutions and people of faith in NJ.
    Mission:  To educate, motivate and mobilize faith-based institutions and people of faith by providing resources and programs in sustainable facilities management services, environmental stewardship, renewable energy and environmental justice.

  • New Jersey Agricultural Society, Trenton
    Provides 6000 needy people with fresh fruits and vegetables 52 weeks a year. Supports 9 school gardens as outdoor learning laboratories. Provides leadership training to 25 agriculturalists
    Mission:  To preserve and enhance agriculture, farming and related activities and businesses in NJ through educational, informational and promotional programs.

  • Palisades Emergency Residence Corp (PERC), Union City
    Serves over 200 homeless and at-risk men and women over the age of 18 daily.
    Mission:  To provide food, shelter and education to area residents in need.

  • Preservation New Jersey, Inc., Trenton
    Provides technical assistance to owners, developers, architects and other individuals and groups seeking information about preservation and rehabilitation of historic properties and advocates for efforts to preserve historic buildings and places.
    Mission:  To work to sustain and enhance the vitality of New Jersey's communities by promoting and preserving their diverse historic resources, through advocacy, education and technical assistance.

  • Somerset Hills Handicapped Riding Center, Oldwick
    Serves children 2 years and older and adults with various physical, cognitive, developmental and emotional disabilities.
    Mission:  To improve the quality of life for individuals with physical, cognitive and emotional disabilities by providing adaptive equestrian activities, -equine-assisted therapy and job training in an equestrian environment.

  • YWCA Central NJ, Plainfield
    Serves over 50,000 low to moderate income residents in Plainfield and the diverse multi-county areas of Union, Somerset, Morris and Middlesex.
    Mission:  To eliminate racism and empower women.

    New Special Project
  • Mt. Pleasant Animal Shelter, East Hanover
    Manages a private, limited-admission facility for companion animals providing exceptional care for temporary residents. The shelter promotes responsible pet ownership and helps to improve the quality of life for companion animals through personalized adoptions and surrenders as well as behavioral consultations. The shelter provides on-going community education.

  • Resource Center for Women and their Families, Somerset County's shelter for victims of domestic violence and other services to treat and prevent domestic violence.
  • Reeves-Reed Arboretum in Summit is a suburban conservancy dedicated to environmental and horticultural education of children and adults.
  • Music for all Seasons, based in Scotch Plains, brings live, professional musical performance to people who would otherwise not have the opportunity to experience such performance, including people in a wide variety of residential institutions.
  • Arts Horizon, in Englewood, providing arts workshops and assembly programs for pre-K through grade 12 students throughout New Jersey, New York and Connecticut.
  • Atlantic Riding Center for the Handicapped offers therapeutic horseback riding programs for children and adults with disabilities.
  • Family and Children's Services of Central New Jersey provides comprehensive mental health services targeted at families with children at risk for abuse or neglect or those involved with juvenile court system.
  • Marion P. Thomas Charter School, a charter school for children in Newark, the majority of whom qualify for government assistance.
  • Mental Health Association of Passaic County provides support services to and education and advocacy on behalf of seriously and persistently mentally ill children and adults and their families in Passaic County.
  • The Jersey Explorer Children's Museum in South Orange, is a unique partnership with New Jersey Youth Corps that both provides educational enrichment to the children visiting the museum and vocational opportunities to at-risk high school drop outs.
  • The Urban League of Essex County offers youth and community development programs to help minority residents of Essex County achieve social and economic self-sufficiency.

  • Montclair Historical Society supplements the New Jersey core curriculum for Montclair students by providing insights into life in the 18th century in Montclair.
  • Tourette Syndrome Association of New Jersey, based in Somerville, provides support for children and families with this disorder.
  • The JED Foundation, a national organization working to prevent suicide among young people, especially on college campuses.
  • Senior Services of the Chathams providing programs and a resource and referral service for seniors in the Chathams and surrounding communities.
