- Habitat for Humanity Newark - Newark
Funded by Prudential/Victoria Mission: To empower people through faith in action to share dreams across economic and racial barriers; to provide good affordable homeownership in Newark in partnership with low-income families; to be a well-established, caring community organization with adequate financial resources and effective structure and staffing; and to help create a visible community of homeowners who make a difference and contribution to a local neighborhood. Over the past 23 year, HFHN has built or renovated 67 family homes in Newark's West and Central Wards and has had a significant impact on the stability of these two communities. - Interfaith Caregivers Trenton - Trenton
An interfaith coalition dedicated to promoting the independence and dignity of homebound elderly and people with disabilities by matching them with caring volunteers who assist with the tasks of everyday living. - Newark Renaissance House - Newark

Pregnant women and women with children affected by the disease of addiction and the behavioral, mental health and lifestyle issues associated with this disease. - Partners for Woman and Justice - Montclair
Mission: To empower low-income and abused women to build safe and secure families for themselves and their children by providing equal access to justice. They offer quality legal assistance in domestic violence and family law matters and guidance to promote financial competence and independence. - Junior Achievement of NJ - Princeton
Funded by Novartis Clients Winners of Power of Partnering Innovation Award Through a dedicated network of volunteers from the local business community, JA-NJ offers in-school and after-school programs for students in grades K-12 that focus on 7 key content areas: business, citizenship, economics, entrepreneurship, ethics/character, financial literacy and career development. Through age-appropriate curricula, Junior Achievement programs begin at the elementary school level, teaching children how they can impact the world around them as individuals, workers and consumers. Junior Achievement programs continue through the middle and high school grades, preparing students for future economic and workforce issues they'll face. - Women's Health Foundation - Chicago, IL

Serving women formerly incarcerated in Edna Mahan Correctional Facility in Clinton; provide housing, job training, mental health counseling. They have houses in ocean and Monmouth Counties and Thrift stores in the same areas. - Special Project at Greater Newark Charter School - Newark
Funded by a Smarter Charter Grant of $15,000 Mission: To enhance the students sense of self-worth and individual pride in their achievements, pride in their communities and pride in the kind of leaders they dream to be, by providing a data-driven, academically rigorous curriculum within a culture of encouragement and aspiration to ensure that every student is prepared to realize their dreams.
