Consultants
Partnership in Philanthropy provides selected nonprofit organizations with an experienced fundraising professional to work on an in-depth, one-on-one custom-designed fundraising program. PIP consultants are selected based upon their past experience working on staff and as consultants to large and small nonprofits. They have expertise dealing with development issues in a variety of fields including education, the arts, the environment, and social services.
PIP consultants are trained in PIP's unique curriculum that includes education in donor identification, donor cultivation, donor solicitation, stewardship of both funds and donors and board development. They also focus on outcomes measurement processes.
PIP consultant are paid on a sliding scale based upon the number of PIP consultancies successfully completed, for 100 hours of consulting and donate pro bono 50 hours for a total of 150 hours in the first year of a consultancy. They are paid for 15 hours in the second year for overseeing the successful implementation of the fundraising plan.
PIP consultants may earn extra money by facilitating various PIP workshops and on-site, custom-designed trainings.
While independent contractors, PIP consultants maintain very careful records and constant reporting procedures with PIP's executive director.
