Consultant Testimonials

I am motivated, just as I was when I first started over 7 years ago as a PIP consultant, to help organization’s receive top-notch consulting services they would not be able to afford. It is a privilege to be part of the process that leads to organizational success through PIP. Anyone who enters the non-profit profession hopefully has an altruistic heart, being a PIP consultant allows me the opportunity to give back. It has been great to see organizations I have worked with transform themselves as a result of being a PIP client. I have been fortunate to have seen the result’s in real dollars, an organization’s first 6 figure gift, an organization’s first 7 figure gift, implementation of a planned giving program that resulted in more than half of the organization’s Board placing the agency in their estate plans, and most of all having agencies recognize their challenges through the process and have a concrete plan to correct them for optimal success. I am proud of my affiliation as a PIP consultant and would suggest any charity that wants to change for the better look into utilizing PIPs services.

When I work with a PIP client, I know that the organization is ready to move forward. The structure of the PIP process sets up shared expectations and an appreciation of the responsibilities that lie ahead. The hard part is making sure that the client believes that they have learned more than I have; the joyful part is watching a board celebrate its achievements."

I signed on to be a PIP consultant, because PIP provides amazing opportunities for small non-profit organizations to receive high quality consulting at a fraction of the price. It also serves as an opportunity for me to work with an organization that I might not otherwise have the occasion to work with. I like that PIP stays with a client for more than a year, and provides training to staff and board, to ensure long-term success.

Twenty years ago I was a board member of a nonprofit that benefitted greatly from one of PIP's first consultancies. So I was pleased five years ago to have the opportunity to join PIP to offer 30 years experience in the field to help organizations needing guidance. The experience has been mutually beneficial: for me it has been an education in the problems of an aging city, an Abbott School, a debilitating national disease, New Jersey's agriculture and the State's aging population.
Paul Mott - PIP Consultant

PIP Consultants serve as mentors, coaches, facilitators, cheerleaders, trainers, organizers, sometimes counselors. I will work whatever role is needed on a particular day, because I know through our long term relationship, the outcomes are pure and positive: a comprehensive plan that prepares PIP Clients for powerful fundraising with newly equipped skills that will afford their organization sustainability and revenue-producing success !!
Laurie Roemmele-Roberts - PIP Consultant

I first began my work with the Partnership in Philanthropy because I was asked if I’d be interested by then Executive Director, Elaine Steuber. PIP was very new in those days and was in the process of building its consultant team. My continued work with PIP is a "No Brainer", because it fills so many personal and professional needs. In short, it’s nice to feel that you’ve been able to make a difference, and work with the Partnership and its clients usually accomplishes this.
