New Jersey National Golf Club
The New Jersey National Golf Club, located at 579 Allen Road, Basking Ridge, is an 18-hole private championship course providing the perfect combination of a spectacular layout and challenging play. Designed by noted British architect, Roy Case, the course is sculpted over 260 acres of rolling terrain and mature woodlands with numerous changes in elevation, undulating greens, broad landing areas and rock walls creating strong visual character. Each hole offers five beautifully manicured sets of tees, allowing golfers to play the course according to their ability. New Jersey National has earned the reputation as one of the finest golf courses in New Jersey.
Chris Cree, M.W., creator and owner of 56° Wine of Bernardsville, has been in the wine business for over 25 years. He has worked in all of its aspects including restaurant, import, wholesale and retail. In 1996, he became the 13th American to have passed the demanding Master of Wine Examination. Today, there are only 20 Americans out of a total of approximately 235 people worldwide who have passed this most demanding wine examination. 56° Wine focuses on small, artisan producers who hand craft their wines. Many are organic or as close as possible and all employ minimal treatments in the winery to allow the wine to retain its pure, natural flavor.

Chris will guide guests through a wine tasting dinner and comparative tasting of old and new world wine styles paired with the National’s Red Oak Grille’s wonderful food for a remarkable dining experience for all.
