 Becky Dembo Becky Dembo is in her ninth year as Executive Director of Partnership in Philanthropy, a nonprofit that provides fundraising and board development training for struggling nonprofits. She has been working in the nonprofit arena for 21 years. Becky was the Executive Director of the Chatham, NJ Chamber of Commerce for 8 years. She joined the Development Department at Bonnie Brae, a residential treatment center for troubled boys, as its Special Events Coordinator and in four years became the Associate Director of Development. She has been Executive Director of Partnership in Philanthropy (PIP) since 2000. In that capacity, she administers the PIP program, selecting worthy nonprofits to receive PIP's two-year fundraising consultancies, training the PIP consultants they are matched with and coordinating PIP's statewide workshops. Becky received a BS in Elementary Education from the University of Pennsylvania. She recently received a Master of Theological Studies from Drew University. She writes and directs children's theatre and is a published lyricist of children's songs. Becky has three grown children and four grandchildren.
Joyce Wackenhut Joyce Wackenhut is in her fourth year as Finance Administrator of Partnership in Philanthropy. Joyce wears many hats at PIP including managing PIP's finances and payroll, maintaining PIP's fundraising and outcomes measurement databases, and supporting PIP's development, marketing and program activities. She has over 25 years of program development and coordination, research, training, fundraising and community outreach experience in the education, corporate and nonprofit sectors including workshop design and facilitation, teaching, special events, writing, quantitative and qualitative research, data analysis, presentations, and advertising strategy development. Joyce received her BA in Psychology from Hunter College and her PhD from City University of New York. Joyce is a single mom who lives in Bridgewater with her teenage son, their Brittany (Abbey), and three inscrutable cats (Ollie, Benji and Tabbycat). Her interests include outdoor activities, especially biking and hiking, and recently, staying tuned into the political landscape.
Heather Robinson Heather Robinson is in her third year as Partnership in Philanthropy's Marketing & Development Associate. She is responsible for marketing PIP's services and programs to New Jersey's nonprofit community. Heather will also continue to write grants and develop partnerships with the New Jersey funding community. Heather comes to PIP as the former Executive Vice President of The Drucker Foundation in New York, an organization whose mission was to strengthen the leadership of the social sector by providing nonprofit executives with essential leadership wisdom, inspiration and resources. Before moving to New York City, Heather was the Director of the Massachusetts Bar Foundation, Boston, which funds legal services to the poor. Heather received her B.A. in Art History from George Washington University and her M.A. in Museum Administration from Seton Hall University. She is a volunteer with the Junior League of Summit, Chatham Recreation and the Girls Scouts. She has two daughters.
